"We will begin our journey through a charming covered bridge on a winding wooded trail in the woods. Spectacular views of Mt. Mansfield, Vermonts highest peak. New Englands most scenic and Romantic ride, our Percheron and Belgian draft horses Justin, Tom, Donny, Mack, or Jack will pull you in a one or two horse (open) santa style sleigh with a curly dash. Enjoy a ride in our lovely new romantic sleigh for couples. We will begin our journey through a covered bridge along an open brook on a winding wooded trail in the woods. Sleighs are all beautifully lit with enchanting lights for our early evening rides. Warm blankets welcome you. Families and groups are welcome. "

Carriages include 4 I-horse sleighs; 2 authentic Currier & Ives (2 adults, 1 child); 3 bob sleighs (3 adults, 1 child). Rides are Daily 11-4 p.m.; group eve. rides (6-8:30 p.m.) by reservation. Reservations may be made through the front desk or by calling 888-2804, 253-2215 Winter tours run from Nov. 15-March 1, Summer carriage rides run from Mid May to Mid October.

Stowehof: Sleigh rides- 'Dashing through the snow in a one horse open sleigh' becomes a reality at the Stowehof. Capture the spirit and romance of the Victorian era with a moonlit sleigh ride for two or four. Bring family and friends for an afternoon ride to see the beautiful views from our meadows.Sleigh rides run:
4pm to 9pm Monday through Friday
2pm to 9pm Saturday and Sunday

Cancellations must be made by 12 noon
the day of the ride.
Mountain View Equestrian hosts sleigh rides at the Stoweflake Mountain Resort & Spa, located on the Mountain Road in Stowe.
Trapp Family Lodge: It's over the hills and through the woods with Massie and Jill, Trapp Family Lodge's resident Belgian horses. Join them for an old-fashioned sleighride across their snow blanketed meadows. Sleigh rides run daily 10AM-3PM.
