Travel Advisory: Route 108 through Smugglers Notch Pass is a spectacularly scenic, paved, yet windy road between Mt. Mansfield and Spruce Peak. This pass will save you 45 minutes driving time during the Spring, Summer, and Fall months for our neighbors to the north. However, please be aware that the road does have a substantial incline and decline, and a mechanically sound vehicle is highly recommended. Also please be aware that the pass is closed to vehicular traffic from November 15- May 1st most years, due to the snow pack. Always consult a verifiable mapping source.
